Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Icovela ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Icovela is an AI-powered app icon generation service. Users describe an icon subject, choose a style, and receive generated icon images. The Service also provides a public API for programmatic icon generation.

3. Accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your API keys with unauthorized parties.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Credits & Payments

  • Each icon generation costs 10 credits.
  • New accounts receive 50 free credits upon sign-up.
  • Additional credits can be purchased via one-time packs or monthly subscriptions.
  • Credits from one-time purchases do not expire. Subscription credits are tied to your billing period.
  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
  • If a generation fails due to a server error, credits are automatically refunded to your account.

5. Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting support.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
  • Subscription credits are added at the start of each billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your content: You retain full ownership of icons generated using the Service. You may use them for any commercial or personal purpose.
  • Our content: The Icovela brand, UI design, style presets, and documentation are owned by Icovela and may not be copied or redistributed.
  • AI-generated output: Icons are generated using AI models. We do not guarantee that generated images are unique or free from resemblance to existing works.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond documented limits
  • Circumvent rate limits, credit restrictions, or access controls
  • Resell access to the Service or API without authorization
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep Icovela available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages from third-party providers (OpenAI, Stripe, etc.). We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Icovela and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the Service or email.
